Demand for the pickup trucks is increasing globally and most of the new versions are evolving to more premium machines. However, there are still a few models on the rugged side of the spectrum which are great reserves for the class leaders. Isuzu D-Max is the mid-size truck worth considering as it is capable to get the job done and still delivers a solid level of refinement. The model went through the refresh for the 2017 model year and changes were in every aspect. Depending on the market, the model is available with revised or new engine option and styling was also the matter of the revision. The refreshed truck also includes upgraded electronics and few safety gadgets.
The 2019 Isuzu D-Max enters the second year after the refresh and it won’t bring significant upgrades. We should expect the same engine options and the same styling form. The new version could, however, add new options and safety features. Important to say is also Mazda’s announcement that new-generation Mazda Bt-50 will switch to Isuzu’s platform.
